"PCR High crown unistage tire building machine" has passed Scientific and technological achievement appraisal by China petrochemical federation

On January 16, 2026, entrusted by the China petroleum and chemical industry federation, the National rubber and plastics design technology center organized and held the scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting for the "PCR high crown unistage tire building machine" independently completed by LINK-ASIA.

The appraisal committee was composed of 9 industry experts. The experts inspected the plant, listened to the achievement report, reviewed the relevant technical materials. After inquiry and discussion, the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that this product is the first of its kind both domestically and internationally, with overall technology leading internationally, and agreed to pass the appraisal.

This product can achieve uni-stage building of high crown tires. The main innovations are as follows:

(1) The high crown uni-stage building drum was invented, integrating processes such as component application, bead setting, bead locking, carcass turn-up, and inflation shaping.It can significantly improve tire building accuracy and tire uniformity.

(2) Through a dual-station structure design, all material application processes can be performed on one station, while the green tire shaping process is simultaneously performed on the other station, which can greatly improve production efficiency.

(3) Technology to limit sidewall deformation during the sidewall conveying process was developed, achieving high-precision, fully automatic sidewall application.

Key technologies have obtained 2 authorized invention patents, 6 utility model patents, and 1 software copyright, possessing independent intellectual property rights. This product has been applied in several tire enterprises such as Zhongce Rubber and Qingdao Aonuo Tire, demonstrating significant economic and social benefits and broad market prospects.
